Stay up to date with Hearts 4 Africa
The lives of so many mothers and newborns are now being saved thanks to the ability we have to provide emergency surgery for those who are in need.
Over 100 people show up every time we do a village outreach. We test for hypertension, diabetes. We test and treat for malaria, typhoid. We do prenatal visits and training for pregnant mothers. All at no cost.
We are so excited to share the many praise reports from 2021. With all the
challenges that the Covid pandemic has continued to bring, Hope Filled
Hearts 4 Africa had an amazing year. Below are just a few of the highlights.
We look forward to what the Lord brings to us in 2022.
Our guest compound is now complete except for landscaping. It was so exciting to host our first team at the guesthouse. Pastor Gary and Carol Kusinoki with Anchored International, Pastor Andy and Kim Fine from
Calvary Chapel Farmington along with their team, were our first guests.
The year 2020 has been like no other. Despite all the challenges that the Covid pandemic has brought, Hope Filled Hearts 4 Africa had an amazing year. Our grand opening celebration was a great success with over 1,000 people in attendance. The first baby was born in April and up to now, 77 baby’s have been welcomed by our wonderful midwives.
Grand opening celebration of Naluko Women’s Hospital on March 13, 2020. Over 1,000 people attended including many important dignitaries. They showed much gratitude and support for what Hearts 4 Africa is doing to help their people. Pictured above in yellow shirts is our amazing staff.
October’s mission team ready to tackle so many projects. Solomon, Mike, and Mike rewired the whole hospital, staff housing including upgraded outlets and light fixtures. No more worries about fires. (we’ve had 2) Joanne made us beautiful window curtains!
As I look back over the past year I am overjoyed at the progress we have made in 2018. Even though things move so slowly in Uganda we achieved so much. Our shipping container finally reached our site after a 2 year struggle to get it there and we had many hands to help unload, sort, and separate. We have now re-purposed it to serve as an out-patient clinic to the village. It turned out beautifully and we are planning to open in December 2018.
